Dough2Door was born in Allentown PA in March of 2012. Bobbi Janson, a newly retired senior, wanted to find a creative way to continue to tithe to the Lord, despite her lower income. On a trip to the grocery store, she witnessed perfectly good bread being thrown out, and an idea was born. The new ministry named Dough2Door, playing off a type of door-to-door service, quickly outgrew their expectations. Since 2012, Dough2Door has grown to extend throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond, receiving donations from over twenty suppliers such as WAWA, WEGMAN’S, WHOLE FOODS, GIANT, WEIS, PANERA, PIZZA HUT, CMTS MINISTRIES, and BOMBAS Socks & Underwear.. Dough2Door is even reaching international borders with a previous volunteer from Kenya taking the ministry back to her country and furthering the ministry there.
